Alan Barbic entered the real estate industry in 1988 and established a strong reputation for professionalism, leadership, and construction expertise. Throughout his career, he served as the assistant manager of Coldwell Banker Los Gatos. He held the position of President of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors® (SILVAR), representing nearly 5,000 agents. His commitment to the industry and extensive knowledge of the South Bay market formed the foundation for the family's success.
Ben Barbic joined the family business in 2003 at 23, quickly establishing himself as an outstanding real estate professional. Over the years, Ben has personally facilitated more than $200 million in real estate transactions. Known for his unwavering commitment to his clients, he consistently goes above and beyond to achieve their objectives, delivering extraordinary results. His expertise in navigating complex negotiations and his focus on building long-term relationships have earned him the trust and loyalty of clients (and agents) throughout the South Bay Area.
Alan and Ben envisioned creating a boutique brokerage that prioritized client relationships, personalized service, and outstanding results. In 2021, their dream became a reality with the establishment of the Barbic Real Estate Group.
Starting with just the two of them, Barbic Real Estate Group quickly grew. In early 2024, they welcomed Peter Vaughan as the brokerage's first agent, forming the successful BV Team. Soon after, two more experienced agents joined, Neal Schwartz and Donna Dawson-Schwartz—bringing the team to five highly skilled professionals.
